Opportunity to Participate in Research

The Canadian Digital Service (CDS) is working with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to understand how people with limited mobility access and use services.

We would like to interview people about their experiences using various services, including tax-related services.

The goal of this research is to understand the experiences of people with limited mobility when filing a tax return and using other services. We will use what we learn to develop a service prototype. You do not have to have filed a tax return to participate.

If you are interested in participating in a face-to-face interview, please contact:

Hillary Lorimer

Phone: 613-402-3085

A few things you should know about the interview:

  • There will be no consequences if you choose not to participate. If you participate you may choose to stop at any time during the interview.
  • Your participation will be kept confidential by CDS and CRA. This means that nothing you tell us will be connected to your name and we won't tell the organization from which you received this notice that you participated.
  • Your participation will not affect your access to CRA or other Government of Canada services, or influence any decisions made in regards to your taxes. Neither the CRA nor CDS will know if you choose not to participate.
  • One or more employees of CDS and CRA will meet you at your home or another location, depending on your preference.
  • The interview should take no more than an hour of your time.
  • Attached is a privacy notice that explains how CDS will handle your contact information.
