Opportunity to Participate in Research
Call for participants for input on a new website to subscribe to updates about government services
Do you have 30 minutes to test a new website to subscribe to learn about the most current government programs?
We at the Canadian Digital Service (CDS) are working to create a clear, understandable website for people without a high level of confidence with technology. Website users will be able to subscribe to receive updates about new Canadian programs by email or SMS as they become available.
We are looking for people who are in one or both of the following categories:
- Have experience with high stress situations such as an emergency or a crisis.
- With a low to medium comfort level with technology to participate. This is not an exact definition but if forms sometimes make you nervous or stressed this is the study for you!
The research session will be about 30 minutes and you will receive a $25 dollar gift card for your time.
During the research session we will:
- Share a prototype of the website with you
- Ask you to complete a series of short tasks on the site so that we can understand what might need to be improved
- Ask you a few simple questions about your use of technology.
Interviews will be scheduled September 9 - 17th between 9 AM and 5 PM EST.
To participate or learn more, please email Jeana Frost.
